Nainital

A small town in the hills of Kumaon, Nainital is a lovely hill station surrounded by mountains on three sides. Travel by visitors there are also many opportunities to take best trekking tours on the mountain ranges of Nainital. Once this area had many lakes and it was called the City of 60 lakes or ‘Chakta’. 

Most of the lakes in the region have disappeared and whatever remains is just a glimpse of what they might have been in the past. Today the life of Nainital revolves around the lake of Naini. But there are few other lakes around Nainital which are equally beautiful and attractive as the Naini lake. Weather Naina Devi Temple, Bhim Tal, Tiffin Top (Dorothy’s Seat) are the must visit Points of Nainital. 

Nainital Hill Station was discovered in 1841 by a Britisher called Lord Barron. The weather, the surrounding and the mesmerising beauty of this area attracted the British administrator who turned this place into the summer capital of the United Province. Being a major tourist place Nainital is always bustling with visitors and people travel to this places from all over India.

 

Jim Corbett National Park

Corbett National Park, also called Jim Corbett National Park, natural area in southern Uttarakhand state, northern India. It was established as Hailey National Park in 1936 and was first renamed Ramganga in the mid-1950s, before the name was changed to Corbett later that decade in memory of Jim Corbett, a well-known British sportsman and writer. The park itself occupies an area of 201 square miles (521 square km). It is part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, which includes adjacent protected areas and has a total area of 497 square miles (1,288 square km). It is India’s oldest national park.

Itinerary

Day 1Pune - delhi

Reporting at Pune railway station. Departure to Delhi .

Day 2Delhi – Nainital

After arrival to Delhi, pick up and proceed to Nainital our tours First Destination. After arrival at resort after check in & Freshened up Evening spend some leisure time at resort.

Day 3Nainital - Bhimtal - Sattal- Nainital

Today after freshened up and breakfast can begin this morning with a visit to the Cheena Peak which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas. Spend rest of the day with a trip to Bhimtal and Sattal. Bhimtal is a scenic lakeside destination which offers a soothing environment to all the visitors.

Sattal is a place where seven lakes come together. The place is surrounded by beautiful green scenery. In the evening, return to Nainital and enjoy shopping at the mall road. Have a comfortable stay at night.

Day 4Nainital - Mukteshwar - Nainital

Munch your breakfast and then head to Mukteshwar for a full day outing. Set in the Kumaon Hills, Mukteshwar is popular tourist destination. Seek blessings at Mukteshwar Temple which is an ancient temple located in a beautiful isolated place. You can also visit the Little Church which is 75 years old and is located on the side of the hill. Also, you can enjoy a cable car ride to the Snow View Point. Later, return back to Nainital and stay overnight.

Day 5Nainital - Corbett National Park

After having your breakfast, drive to Corbett National Park. The park is 60 km from Nainital and it covers an area of 521 km². The park houses more than 500 species of animals, reptiles and birds. The place offers a lot to those who wish to have a closer look of nature. People can enjoy Jeep Safari and Elephant Ride in the park and enjoy their encounter with different species.

Wildlife of the park includes the Tiger, the Leopard, slot Bear, Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat, Wild Boar, Langur and Rhesus Monkeys, Gharial and Muggar Crocodiles. On arrival, check-in to the lodge and stay overnight.

Day 6Corbett

Have a memorable experience this morning by taking up elephant ride or jeep safari. Enjoy the pleasant climate of the place amid the greenery surrounding the place. In the evening either go for a safari to spot the wildlife or spend time at leisure. Dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 7Corbett – Delhi

After having your breakfast, leave Corbett and head back to Delhi airport/ railway station for your onward journey.
