Kedarnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimages of Lord Shiva situated in Rudraprayag district of Garhwal region in Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is situated at an altitude of 3586 mts, in the lap of the majestic mountain peaks and near the head of river Mandakini, Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva is the supreme most god in Hinduism, hence also named as Mahadev (the god of the gods). It is believed that he is the creator, destroyer and transformer of the universe. People having faith in Hinduism worship lord Shiva. Kedarnath is one of the four pilgrims. Also amongst the twelve Jyotirling, the holy Kedarnath temple is of uttermost importance. It’s a once in a lifetime experience of divinity, faith and spirituality. The word
Kedar means “fields” and Nath means “lord” meaning lord of the fields. Kedarnath is 223 kms. from Rishikesh. It is situated at the height of 3583 mtrs. The temple is located in Garhwal Himalayan range of Uttarakhand, India. (An expert guide will be adjoining full group throughout the entire trip so you wouldn’t miss any thing)

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Haridwar

Pick up from Haridwar Railway Station and proceed to our pre-booked Hotel. After freshened up and Breakfast visit Haridwar Local Sightseeings like Mansa Devi Temple, Hari Ki Paudi. In the Evening visit Maa Ganga Aarti at Har ki Paudi Ghat. Dinner & overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 2Haridwar to Guptkashi

(206 kms : 6-7 Hrs. Travelling to Guptkashi)
After breakfast leave early morning to Guptkashi.Leave early in the morning for drive to Guptkashi. Dinner & overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 3Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Dedicated to Lord Shiva (Aum Tryambakam yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti-vardhanam IUrvarukamiva Bandhanan Mrtyormuksheeya Maamritat II)
(Meaning: We worship The ThreeEyed Lord Shiva who is naturally fragrant, immensely merciful and who is the Protector of
the devotees. Worshiping him may we be liberated from death for the sake of immortality just as the ripe cucumber easily separates itself from the binding stalk i.e. “By your Grace, let me be in the state of salvation (Moksha) and be saved from the clutches of fearful death and calamities”.)

(35 kms by Vehicle and 21 kms by foot).
Early Morning, 02:00 AM start Yatra for Kedarnath Dham .The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam – the main idol, a statue of Nandi – the celestial bull, a ‘GarbaGrah’ for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Bhaironath Temple :-
About half a kilometer away from Kedarnathji, a small temple is dedicated to Bhaironath. It is worshipped on the opening and closing day of Sri Kedarnath Shrine. Ii is believed that when Kedarnathji temple is closed. Bhaironathji protects this land from evil. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 4Kedarnath to Guptkashi

(21 kms by foot and 35 kms by vehicle.)
Morning after darshan from Garbhgruha Visit places around temple like Caves, Adi Shankaracharya Temple & Start descending towards Gaurikund.
On arrival at Gaurikund get depart to Guptkashi. Dinner & overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 5Guptkashi to Rishikesh

(206 kms : 6-7 Hrs. Travelling to Rishikesh)
After Breakfast, leave for Rishikesh. Reach in the evening have leisure time in Rishikesh. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps.

Day 6 Rishikesh Local & Drop at Haridwar

After Breakfast then proceed to adventures activities in Rishikesh (Rafting, Bungee jumping, Body surfing & many more). In the evening visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Drop at Haridwar railway station to catch your train to Mumbai.
